The plans for the Academy are progressing well, with many aspects of opening a new school being considered in detail. There have been a large number of separate consultations with all stakeholders, and everyone, including the Governing Body, supports the project.
The opening of the Academy is planned for September 2009, with the move to the new buildings in September 2010. It is a very tight schedule but with everyone’s support, achievable. The final decision to go ahead will be taken in March 2008, after which, providing the project is approved, there will be no turning back.
